[test] Why beginners hyperventilate in their first session
[test] Test post. Almost everyone's first conscious breathing session goes the same way: five minutes in, hands tingle, head goes light, and they assume something profound is happening. Usually it isn't. It's over-breathing — blowing off carbon dioxide faster than the body wants to. It feels dramatic and it is completely harmless, but it isn't the practice. The fix is boring: breathe less, not more. Shorter inhales, longer pauses. The interesting part starts once the drama stops.
